Keweenaw PFLAG Meeting 1/18/08
In attendance: Ted, Alice, Travis, Amlan, Sydney, Pat
Discussion of local diversity issue involving local junior high students.
Discussion of letters of incorporation
By consensus:
Dave Watkins will be president
Ted Soldan accepted as VP
Pat Hopp accepted Secretary
____ accepted as Treasurer
Part of the letters of incorporation were to decide if we are a Membership or Directorship corporation, after discussion the consensus was to be a Membership corporation.
Pat will attempt to adapt KP’s constitution and by-laws for Keweenaw PFLAG use.
We had discussion about creating and finalizing a website. We decided to go with keweenawpflag.org and also get keweenawpflag.com to be safe. Pat has agreed to host the website; he has the ability to host non-profit organizations he is involved with for free.
